To dear Willie, I feel so grateful to have had you as my tutor during my counselling studies. From the very beginning you opened my eyes to a whole new way of learning and seeing the world. You were an amazing teacher, a straight talker who always told it like it was, with that wonderful mischievous smile that could light up a room. You had a way of making learning meaningful, challenging us to think differently and most of all believing in what we were capable of. You left a lasting impression on me, both as a teacher and as an amazing lady. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your wisdom and your wonderful personality with us. You will be remembered fondly and missed by so many. Rest peacefully Willie xx❤️
To Willie's Family ...I first met Willie when she joined the Social welfare Staff in the '80s. We somehow always got on and kept meeting at other places of interest for a number of years. I think we both had the same sense of humour and interests and we both always enjoyed a great yarn and a laugh...she was certainly sharp minded and enjoyed a bit of verbal sparring...both of us did. I loved her intelligence and wryness...as I imagine you all did. A lovely person. From Kath
